Detroit Lions draft revisited 2010

Overall Grade: C  Without Suh: D-

Suh Pick #2 46 starts Grade: A

137 tackles 22 sacks
Great pick. Really a no-brainer. Two time pro bowl player.

Jahvid Best Round 1 Pick #30 22 games 15 starts Grade: D

255/945/6 rush
85/774/3 rec
Big risk that did not pay off. Trading up for the oft-injured Best coming a horrific brain injury at Cal. THe trade was Best and Jason Fox for Everson Griffen and Chris Cook for the Vikings.

Amari Spievey Round 3 Pick #66 30 games 24 starts grade: D+

121 tackles 5 picks
Drafted to play corner moved to safety. This caused a rift between the coaches and the scouts. He is a decent safety who can run the alley. Good special teams player but future is in doubt because of 4 brain injuries and an arrest.

Jason Fox Round 4 Pick #128 Grade: Inc

Drafted out the U after a knee injury late his senior year. He started 47 straight games before the injury. He blew out his hamstring at his pro day and really had to redshirt his rookie year. He was injured all year 2. Healthy in year 3 but only played 1 game. Could start at RT this year.

Willie Young Round 7 Pick #213 32 games Grade B-

25 tackles 3 sacks
Looked like a real find in 2011. Had a terrible 2012 and is on the roster bubble.

Tim Toone Round 7 Pick #255 Grade:D

Two time practice squad member, Toone never showed the speed the Lions needed. Is currently on the Atlanta Falcons roster.
