Detroit Lions sign WR Anquan Boldin to 1 year deal


Detroit Lions sign veteran WR Anquan Boldin to a one year deal. Boldin was named the NFL Walter Payton Man of the year in 2015. He brings toughness and leadership to the Lions.

A tribute to the 25th anniversary of the 1991 Detroit Lions


The Lions have announced they will honor the 12-4 Division Championship 1991 team. This is the only team to win a play-off game since 1957.

An ode to the 2008 Detroit Lions. a review of the 0-16 season


in 2008 the Detroit Lions defied all expectations by actually not winning a football game. this is the jewel of a era when the Lions 5-47 between 2007 and 2010.

Here are some of the highlights:

Fired GM Matt Millen during the Season.

Placed QB Jon Kitna on the injured reserve.

Traded Roy Williams to the Cowboys.

Kicked WR Mike Furrey thrown out of the lunch room for wanting to play.
