Detroit Lions place WR Ryan Broyles on season ending IR, recall Montell Owens


Detroit Lions end the season of 2nd year WR Ryan Broyles. He suffered a ruptured achilles on a punt return. He did not field the ball. This is 3rd straight season for Broyloes to suffer a major non contact injury. He has 30 receptions 385 yards a 2 td in 16 games in Detroit.

Great coverage except for 2 plays. Houston was great and Bentley was active before being injured. Slay was burned for 2 td. Delmas struggled again with his angles and tackling.

Good overall effort. Only 1 sack on a line stunt by Jason Hatcher. I thought Waddle should have come off but I gave the sack to Sims. Reiff had his best game run blocking. Only 1 oenalty on Pettigrew for a false start.

Skilled Guys:

Bush was good but lossed a fumble. Bell did some good things in a limited role. CJ was great but still he did have a drop for a pick and fumble lost.
