No long term deal for cliff avril

The deadline to sign franchise player DE Cliff Avril has passed. He will play for the tag price of $10.6 million. He reportedly turned down 3 years at $30 million $20 million guaranteed. I have been on the record on this blog saying we should not have tagged him. I think he is a $5 million player per year. Next season, we should let him go and take the compensatory pick. Try to re-sign LoJack and draft DE early.
