Why: Dominate player for the Silver Rush.
Stats: 66 starts 75.5 sacks 2 int 4 FR

Dave Pureifory 1978-1982


Why: I remember a Thanksgiving vs the Broncos where the Silver Rush put a smackdown on Craig Morton.
Stats: 63 starts 37 sacks 2 FR

Doug English 1975-1985


Why: Probably the best defensive tackle of my lifetime.
Stats:  131 games 98 starts 696 tackles 59 sacks 9 FR Pro Bowl: 1979, 82-84 All-Pro 1982

Jerry Ball 1987-1992



Why: Great player until Thanksgiving day injury ruined his knee.
Stats: 84 starts 306 tackles 18.5 sacks 6 FR 1td Pro Bowl 1989-1991 All-Pro 1991

Linebackers

Chris Spielman 1988-1995


Why: Great football player, Great Man

Why: Tough run defender, who anchored a pretty good defense

Why: Good athlete with a bright future until his career ended with a neck injury
