Detroit Lions Draft Preview Wide Receiver

Draft level Medium

Overview:

Not a strong draft for # 1 WR. Very few guys who should go in the 1st round. However, there are a number of guys who can be good # 2, # 3 receivers in the league. If you want big outside guys there a number guys including NKeal Harry, Kelvin Harmon, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Hasaan Butler. If you prefer a smaller guy with quicks you can get Andy Isabella, Hunter Renfrow,  Hollywood Brown, Good depth throughout the middle rounds.

Top Prospects:
DK Metcalf Ole Miss One trick Pony- Deep routes. He is a good at those.
Hollywood Brown Oklahoma Crazy fast, Makes people miss. Scary in the open field.
NKeal Harry ASU Good size and Hands, 2nd round
AJ Brown Ole Miss Good route runner. Has some shake. Pro ready
Parris Campbell Ohio State Fast, slot guy. Not a deep receiver
Deebo Samuel South Carolina Tough, tackler breaker, good downfield receiver.
Hakeem Butler Iowa State Big with Good hands. Nightmare in the redzone
Riley Ridley Georgia Smooth route runner. Lacks speed
Kelvin Harmon NC State Big guy with hands. Not a speed guy. lacks separation
Miles Boykin Notre Dame Height,Weight Speed guy. Has upside.
JJ Arcega-Whiteside Stanford Huge guy who can catch in traffic. Surprised with 4.49 40.
Andy Isabella UMASS Fast, reminds me of Wes Welker
Mecole Hardman Georgia Fast, slot guy. Underrated
Emanuel Hall Missouri Tall, better speed than you think.

Lions draft:
Lions have worked out Harry, Isabella, and Hall. Sent guys to Ohio State and West Virginia. I like Brown, Samuel or Harry in the 2nd round. Campbell would be a steal in the third. A speed guy like Isabella, Hardman would be a good third round pick.
