Lions draft Texas CB Quandre Diggs in the 6th round. He will play in the slot and on special teams if he makes the team. He is described as tough, smart and competitive.
In general, any corner drafted after the 2nd round in Detroit has not panned out. The list includes Dee McCann, Ramzee Robinson, Jonte Green, Chris Greenwood. Given the lack of talent at the slot corner this guy might have a chance.
