Detroit Lions sign S Reshard Langford and Release LB Korey Bosworth


To shore up the Lions secondary which has a knee injury to Louis Delmas and Don Carey along with headaches for Amari Spievey, they sign former Chief Reshard Langford. Langford is a 4th year man out of Vanderbilt.

Here is a tribute:

Langford played 17 games and started 2 for the Chiefs. He recorded 17 tackles

After being signed as a UDFA in 2009
He spent much of 2009 on the Eagles Practice Squad.

A four year starter at Vanderbilt, he recorded 247 tackles and 11 picks
At his pro day, he had a 4.68 40 17 reps 38" 10'3" Broad 4.23 20 and 7.17 l drill.

Lions waive Korey Bosworth

LB Bosworth was cut to make room for Langford. A 3rd man out of UCLA, this was his 2nd stint with the Lions.
