Detroit Lions K Jason Hanson retires after 21 seasons

Lions kicker Jason Hanson retires after 21 season with the Lions. He played 327 games for the Lions most in NFL history with one team. He was taken in the 2nd round of the 1992 draft (pick #56). That year the Lions brought in Robert Porcher, Tracy Scrggins, Larry Tharpe and big play Willie Clay.

Here is a tribute:

Here is my view of the kick Hanson missed on Thanksgiving

Here are his stats:

495/601 FG 656/664 XP 15 punts 534 yards 35.6 Ave. 34 tackles

6 playoff games 0 wins 3/4  FG  9/9Xp

Washington State:

63/96 FG 139/144 XP

Good Luck in the future
