Detroit Lions re-sign veteran OL Garrett Reynolds. Reynolds played all 4 preseason games with Detroit and has the ability to play guard and tackle. He alternated with Cornelius Lucas at Right Tackle in practice on Wednesday. LaAdrian Waddle the starter has a calf injury suffered on the 5th play of the Giants game.

Lions place 3rd year man Bill Bentley on season ending injured reserve. A 3rd round pick in 2012, Benltey has missed significant time in each of his 3 seasons. He torn an ACL early in the 1st quarter covering Victor Cruz.This leaves rookie 4th round pick Nevin Lawson as the nickel. This Lions have worked out Dimitri Patterson, Chris Clemons, Roc Carmichael and Champ Bailey so far this season. Mohammad Seisay is on rookie on the practice squad.
