Lions sign DT Jovan Haye and waive Brandon McDonald

Injuries to the Defensive Line have caused the Lions to sign veteran DT Jovan Haye.

Haye is a 8 year man out of Vanderbilt. He has played for (6th round Pick) Panthers, Browns, Bucs and Titans.

He has started 46 games and played in 71. 181 tackles and 6.5 sacks in that span.

LIons have waived Brandon McDonald. McDonald was burned for two touchdowns in the Thanksgiving game by Aaron Rodgers. The last one McDonald was injured and did not play in the debacle against the Saints. He played in 17 games for us starting 2. In that span,  he recorded 36 tackles and 1 FR. In the preseason he had 13 tackles.
