Kitna leads a comeback

Jon Kitna (22/32/1 245 1td) knocked out but comes back to lead the Lions to a win in overtime.

J.T. had three turnovers

J.T. O'Sullivan (13/24/2 148) came in threw a td to Calvin but 3 turnovers inspired Kitna to come back in.

This close to a tie

Joey leads a tough comeback only to fall short on a botched Extra Point snap by Don Muhlbach.

Joey (25/44/2 361 2td) hit Roy Williams (7/104/2td) with 8 seconds for the potiential tieing score.

Daunte Culpepper (25/35/1 404 3td) was the winning QB for VIkings. He was 0-10 as a Lions starter.

Mike McMahon threw a td to Scotty Anderson but the 2 point play failed to have the Lions lose. McMahon threw 19/44/3 293 and 3td. Todd Lyght returned a blocked FG 75 yards for a td. Rocher Porcher had a FR TD.

Porcher with 2 sacks

A Cory Schelsinger run wins it. Todd Lyght had a 59 yard int td. McMahon threw 15/28/0 241 and had 74 yards and td rushing. James Stewart had 91 rushing yards and Porcher contributed 2 sacks.

K Jason Hanson with 6 FG. The last one to win with 7 seconds left from 48 yards.  Lions lead 19-0 at half only to blow the lead Terry Fair had two ints one returned 41 yards for a ts. Greg Hill ran for 67 yards.

Scott Mitchell had 410 yards passing and 4 td. Brett Perriman, Herman Moore and Johnni Morton all had over 1000 yards receiving. Antonio London had 3 sacks.
