Armonty Bryant and Khyri Thornton suspended by the NFL

The NFL has suspended two Detroit Lions defensive lineman.

Armonty Bryant has been suspended for 4 games for violating the NFL drug policy. This is his third suspension since the beginning of 2016. He was waived by Cleveland in 2016. This really hurts the Lions depth at DE. He has likely played his last game for Detroit.

Here is a tribute:

5 games in Detroit
4 tackles 3 sacks
2 suspensions

Khyri Thornton was suspended 6 games for violating the NFL drug policy. He was counted on the rotate at Defensive Tackle. Thornton signed a 2 year extension in the offseason. This opens the door for Ego Ferguson and Jeremiah Ledbetter to make the initial 53 man roster.

Here is a tribute

19 games 6 starts 23 tackles 1 sack
Look the Lions to be active in trying to land another lineman for camp.
