Detroit Lions interior lineman

The Lions have some depth and interesting decisions. Signing TJ Lang to add to the young guys at the other positions has created competition. I will boldly predict Joe Dahl will emerge as the right guard.

One of the best guards in football, ranking # 2 pass protection.. Very good at the jump set the Lions use. He replaces Larry Warford who was ranked # 20 last year. Coming off of hip surgery. Has played in 16 career playoff games.

A better center than a guard. Can be serviceable at both. Looks much stronger this year. In competition at the left guard spot.

Bust pick by Mayhew. Has not developed into a quality lineman. Will not have his 5th year option picked up. He ranked in the bottom five guards in run blocking in 2016.
