Lions take Boston College K Nate Freese with pick #229 in the 7th round. He served a both the kicker and punter in 2013. Freese was 1st All-American after going 20/20 on FG this season. Has a good leg but may not kickoff for Lions. Nate will compete with Potter and Tavecchio for the kicker spot.
