Detroit Lions S Chris Hope and DT Israel Idonjie

Lions sign veteran S Chris Hope. A 12 year man out of Florida State, he was signed for insurance at safety. Delmas and Spievey both have a history of injury and Hope could play in a pinch. He still is a long shot to make the team.

Here is a tribute:

Hope played 2012 in Atlanta
16 games 3 starts 16 tackles

Played 6 years in Nashville.
85 games 77 starts
16 picks

4 years in Pittsburgh
62 games 32 starts
4 picks and a Super Bowl Ring

Welcome to Detroit

Lions sign DT Israel Idonije to a one year deal. Idonije is 11 year man out of Canada. He became a starter in 2010 and played well with 20.5 sacks in those 42 starts. He will be a swing player at DT and DE for the Lions. This is a good signing.

Here is a tribute:

Israel played 134 games with 50 starts
28.5 sacks
Welcome to Detroit
