RB Mikel LeShoure suspended for 2 games


After two arrests for dope, LeShoure has been suspended for the 2 games and fined 2 more game checks.
He will miss the home opener vs. the Rams and a road game vs. the 49ers. His total fine will cost him $109,411.

Le Shoure will miss the first 2 games

Typically the Lions avoid off-the field suspensions. They include Defensive Line coach Joe Cullen suspended for game in 2007 for naked driving. DT Shaun Rogers was dinged for PED in 2006 for 4 games. Team president Tom Lewand was suspended for 21 days reduced from 30 and fined $100,000 for DUI.
