Lions Release Keyunta Dawson, Re-sign Brandon McDonald

DE Keyunta Dawson was released after two games and 1 tackle. His tackle was on fumble that picked up by the Vikings Devin Aromashdou, Keyunta hustled to make the play. He made 5 tackles in the preseason.

Lions bring back DB Brandon McDonald. He has 17 Lions games with 2 starts. His Lions career has seen 36 tackles, 2 PBU and FR. He was injured against the Packers on Thanksgiving while giving up his second touchdown pass of the game.

Win and in games- The History

The last win and in game for the Lions was 12/24/2000 vs the Bears at the Dome.

Detroit took a 17-13 lead on back up QB Stoney Case 13 yard run

Case threw 12/21/1 89 yards

Case then threw a 61 yard pick six to RW McQuarters. The Lions tied it up with a 26 yard FG by Hanson.

The Lions finished 9-7 and fired Coach Gary Moeller. They hired GM Matt Millen and the rest is history.
