Detroit Lions draft visits- Mike Cox, Vinson Painter, Cody Davis Brian Winters

Update on Detroit Lions draft visits:

RB Mike Cox UMASS 5117 220 4.6 24 reps 38 vj 1007 broad 4.09 20 6.87 ldrill

I see Cox, a U of M transfer, as a udfa and a guy who would have to use special teams as a way to make a team. Could be a scout team running back on the practice squad.

OT Vinson Painter Va Tech 6040 306 4.95 32 reps 30.5 801 broad 4.56 20 7.71 ldrill

A good athlete with NFL measureables. Only one year of expereince at Right Tackle for the Hokies. I rate him 6.1 or back up guy with upside 5th round pick.

S Cody Davis Texas Tech 6014 204 4.41 15 reps 41.5 vj 1003 broad 4.04 20 6.79 ldrill

Davis is a safety who has made a name for himself in the regional combine circuit. Good size speed guy with range. 6.1 rating back up with upside 5th round

OG Brian Winters Kent State 6034 320 5.2 27 vj 805 broad 4.75 20 7.57 ldrill

A left tackle at Kent will ove inside in the league. I rate him 6.4 back up as a rookie but starter down the line. 3rd round.
