Detroit Lions draft preview OLB Kyle Van Noy

Broke down film (Utah State, Washington, Texas) on BYU OLB Kyle van Noy. Good player but more of an OLB than DE. Can play in space. Good blitzer who relies on moves rather than speed. Can sift thru the trash to find the ball. Good burst to the ball carrier.

Ideal position is OLB in the 3-4. For the Lions he would play Sam. He is a three down player and his value is between 25-35. He should be on the Lions board at in the 2nd round.

Grade 6.8 solid starter by the end of his rookie year.
