Went to the open practice at Ford Field on Wednesday night. Reports peg the attendance at 4,400. Here are my thoughts:
-Dan Orlvosky sucks. If Staff gets hurt we are in trouble
- Reggie Bush cannot pass block. He whiffed 4 times in the drill.
-Pass rush dominated all night. Lions played mostly the young guys like Swanson and Austin.
- Jonte Green and Cassius Vaughn are in line for roster spots at CB
- DeJon Gomes is leading Isa Abdul Quddus for the 4th S Spot.
- CB Mohammad Seisay and Aaron Hester are worthy of the practice squad.
-Mikel LeShoure looks good. He is legit NFL back.
-FB Jed Collins and Chad Abram are huge. Collins is a back up long snapper.
I met TJ Jones, James Ihedigbo, Andre Fluellen, Jed Collins, George Johnson, Quentin Payton, Caraun Reid, Xavier Prcotor, Patrick Edwards and Darryl Tapp
