Detroit Lions were one of four teams to scout the workout of South Alabama CB Damond Smith. It was reported he ran between 4.4 and 4.5 40 with a 37" VJ. Smith worked out for the Lions in April at their local pro day. DT Kayon Swanson from Southern Illinois also worked out.

None of the them will likely be taken. Ross and Smith have the best chance to stick
