My observations:

Did not like the body language or vibe of Ansah. He looked to lack energy. Hurt ankle.

You can tell the rookies from the vets. Guys like Spencer Nealey seemed to be a step behind.

Chaz Schilens looks the part. Tall and fast.

Reggie Bush is the real deal.

Brandon Hepburn is bigger than I thought.

Glover Quin looks like an NFL safety

Nick Fairley lost most of his gut.

The height of the team is noticeable. Fauria, Taylor, Veldman, Jason Jones along the others.

Ronnell Lewis, Carmen Messina, Devin Thomas, Louis Delmas did not practice.

Detroit Lions place 2 on PUP, 1 on NFI list

The Lions place 2 on the Physically unable to Participate list. They can be activated from the list anytime duirng camp. If they remain on the list when the season starts they cannot be activated until week 7. They count against the 90 player until 75 man cut down.

Detroit Lions re-sign DT Andre Fluellen

Detroit Lions welcome back 2008 3rd round draft pick Andre Fluellen. This is his 3rd stint with the Lions. He played for Jags for 2 games in 2012 and was signed by Bears in the off-season. He is a memeber of the Millen era and the 2008 0-16 team. Andre is too small to play DT and too slow to play end but he is a try hard guy.

Detroit Lions waive OL Bill Nagy

Lions waive C-OG Bill Nagy beccause of an ankle injury. He was claimed off of waivers from the Cowboys during camp in 2012. He started 4 games in 2011 before the injury. He was also injured at Wisconsin because of a moped accident. Mayhew was given a lot of props for duping the Cowboys. Nagy never played a game for the Lions.
