Detroit Lions draft Preview Defensive Tackle

Lions Cut Snacks, let A'Shawn walk and have not re-signed Mike Daniels. The addition of Nick Williams and Danny Shelton should solidify the position. The Lions have Williams and Hand to play the 3 technique and Shelton and Atkins to play the Nose. Another versatile play maker would add some pop to this group.

3 technique- More of upfield player than can get a push in the pass game.

Jared Kinlaw South Carolina 6051 324 7 top 10
Long, Explsoive player. A model for a 3 technique. First off the snap and can beat guards with his quickness at 324 lbs. Can get a little high and get pushed by the double team.
