Lions will pick up the 5th year option on OT Riley Reiff. This will cost the team $ 8 million or so. He will be a starter at either tackle but the Lions will would love to move him to right tackle. Reiff struggled against the Cowboys in play-offs.

Lions waive OG Rodney Austin. Austin was arrested for domestic violence in North Carolina. He appeared in one game since being signed as UDFA in 2012.
