Detroit Lions trade LB Kyle Van Noy and a 7th round pick to New England for a 6th round pick. Van Noy, a 2nd round pick in 2014, really struggled in the NFL. He never showed the play making ability or nose for the ball he had at BYU.

Lions re-sign LB Josh Bynes. Bynes was injured during the preseason and is now eligible to return. He was signed off the Ravens practice squad in 2014. Should be an upgrade to the guys the lIons have started this season.
