The Lions fill out the 90 man training camp roster with the addition of RJ Stanford. This is good news for the injured tackles Cornelius Lucas and LaAdrian Waddle. They would have signed another tackle if they were not confident in what was on the roster.
Stanford will compete in the nickel spot. Finally, Mayhew understands that corners get hurt and you need to build depth. Unfortunately it is a little late. Stanford is a fringe NFL corner.
