Detroit Lions waive 4th year man Dwight Bentley. Another failed 3rd round CB. He follows in the foot steps of the likes of Keith Smith, Stanley Wilson and Amari Spievey . This history does not signal success this years 3rd round CB Alex Carter.
Bentley struggled with the ability to turn his toward the ball and with injury. He had shoulders injuries, concussion and a torn ACL. This leaves the nickel corner job to Josh Wilson, Quandre Diggs, Nevin Lawson and Chris Owens.
