Rookie QB Matthew Stafford started out hot hitting Bryant Johnson and fellow Rookie Brandon Pettigrew for tds. The Lions took a 17-0 1st quarter lead but were ourscored 3-32 the rest of the way. THe Lions finished 2-14.

Josh Brown opened the Rod Marinelli era with three field goals inlcuding one on the least play to send the Lions to the first of many losses under Rod. The Lions finished 3-13.
