Former Georgia and Seattle WR has joined the Lions practice squad. Durham has been on the Lions radar for a while. I thought the Lions would take him in the 5th round of 2011 draft.

Lions sign 10th year man Drayton Florence. Florence was released Friday by the Denver Broncos. He was a 2nd round pick by the Chargers out of Tuskegee in 2003.

Lions waive WR Patrick Edwards

Lions waive UDFA Rookie WR Patrick Edwards from Houston. Edwards flashed at times in camp but did not play well in the games. He did have a nice return against the Bills.

Edwards caught 4 passes in the preseason.
He is probably on the practice squad.

Detroit Lions Release OG Dan Gerberry

Lions release 4th year man Dan Gerberry. He stuck on the Lions practice squad for three years. He signed as a UDFA out of Ball State in 2009. He was on the 53 man roster for two weeks in 2009. He did not suit up.
