I have witnessed some crazy stuff as a 41 year old Detroit Lions fan.
Dave Williams KOR for touchdown on Thanksgiving 1980. The only time that has every happened.

|
Nick Harris watches the game slip from his hands. |
Dan Orlvosky runs out the end zone and still does not know it to lose 10-12 at Minnesota. The Lions went 0-16
|
That is two points for the Viks |
The season opener for 2010. Matthew Stafford destroyed for the season, Calvin's process drop.
|
Remember two feet, two knees and a hand is not enough |
However, this one takes the cake. Here is a run down.

The Lions get a break and Shaun Hill's pick is called back. A TD to Mega gives a chance.
A recovered onside by Spievey leads to a Hail mary to Titus Young.
|
It is answered but not for long |
The Titans win the toss and the Lions hold the Titans to FG despite two defensive penalties. Thanx to a new NFL rule the Lions can still win.
They drive down the field and Mikel Leshoure falls one inch short of a 1st down. The Lions want to try to draw Tennessee offside but Dom Raoila snaps the ball. Shaun Hill fumbles and we lose.

Hill Fumbles |
|
Miscommunication. Dom snapped the ball. We lose. |
That is the first time in NFL History that has happened. The 46 points in the 4th Quarter is the 2nd most in NFL history next to Lions and Bears in 2007.
